Once your resume has been reviewed and it has been determined that you are eligible to pursue an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW credential, an introductory supervision meeting will be scheduled to ensure that this is a good fit, to identify your needs and begin tailoring a plan for supervision to address your individual needs as well as comply with the licensure requirements of the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists. What are the requirements to participate in clinical supervision?
- Successful completion of a master’s degree, specialist degree, or doctoral degree from a program that qualifies you to pursue licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
- Meet criteria to satisfy additional requirements of the State of Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists at http://sos.state.ga..us
- Employment in a position approved by the State of Georgia Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists.
