Congratulations. You are on your journey to becoming an independent practitioner — and Scholar is honored to walk that journey with you.

The path to licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW is one of the most significant professional journeys a behavioral health clinician undertakes. It requires clinical hours, documented supervision, ongoing learning, and the kind of personalized guidance that helps you grow not just as a practitioner — but as a professional and a person.

Scholar is now accepting new applications from clinicians in need of clinical supervision for state licensure purposes. Our supervision is provided by approved Clinical Supervisors who bring deep clinical expertise, genuine investment in your development, and a comprehensive approach that prepares you for the full scope of independent practice.

Scholar offers individual supervision, group supervision, and supervision workshop hours — all provided by approved Clinical Supervisors and designed to meet the requirements of your licensure board.

To participate in clinical supervision at Scholar, clinicians must meet the following requirements:

✔  Successful completion of a master’s degree, specialist degree, or doctoral degree from a program that qualifies you to pursue licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW

✔  Meet the criteria and additional requirements of your state licensure board for Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists

✔  Employment in a position approved by your state licensure board

✔  Willingness to obtain professional liability insurance prior to beginning supervision

Scholar offers three pathways for accumulating supervised clinical hours — each one designed to meet your specific needs, schedule, and licensure requirements.

Individual Supervision

One-on-one supervision with a dedicated Scholar Clinical Supervisor — providing personalized guidance, case consultation, and professional development tailored specifically to your clinical experiences and licensure goals.

Group Supervision

Small group supervision of up to six clinicians per group — providing peer learning, diverse case perspectives, and shared professional development in a structured, supervisor-facilitated environment. Group supervision is an excellent complement to individual supervision and an opportunity to learn from the experiences of peers navigating similar professional journeys.

Supervision Workshops

Scholar also offers clinical supervision hours as part of one-day trainings and workshops — covering specific clinical areas with documented hours toward licensure requirements. Please contact Scholar for a current list of supervision workshops including topics, hours, rates, and available packages.

Scholar’s clinical supervision is priced to be accessible to clinicians at the pre-licensure stage while reflecting the expertise, personalization, and clinical depth of every supervision engagement.

Individual Supervision

Single Session

$150 – $250 per hour

For clinicians who need occasional supervision support, makeup sessions, or are in the early stages of exploring supervision before committing to a package.

Monthly Package

$400 – $600 per month

Two individual supervision sessions per month — the most common supervision frequency for licensure requirements. Includes session notes, progress documentation, and supervisory feedback between sessions.

Intensive Monthly Package

$700 – $1,000 per month

Four individual supervision sessions per month for clinicians in high-volume or high-acuity settings, those on accelerated licensure timelines, or those who need more frequent support and guidance.

Group Supervision

Group Supervision Session

$75 – $125 per person per session

Small group supervision of up to six clinicians per group — providing peer learning, case consultation, and shared professional development in a structured, supervisor-facilitated environment.

Monthly Group Package

$200 – $350 per person per month

Two group supervision sessions per month — ideal for cohorts of clinicians pursuing licensure on a similar timeline.
